Orphanage

From East to West

We service over 5 orphanages and a home for disabled adults in the DRC

While we all hope for children to be raised in stable, loving families, the reality is that many are not safe in their homes. When children are abandoned, neglected, or at risk of harm from their parents or relatives, placement in a well-run orphanage can be a far better alternative. For those who would otherwise face abuse or end up living on the streets, exposed to violence and exploitation, institutional care can offer critical protection.

Children experiencing homelessness often lack access to basic necessities—such as food, hygiene, medical care, and education—and are vulnerable to starvation, trafficking, and gang violence. In contrast, orphanages can provide a safe and stable environment where children's basic needs are met, allowing them to begin healing from trauma and building resilience. These institutions also offer access to education and life skills training, empowering children to become independent and productive members of society.

Importantly, Our orphanages help children feel seen and valued. By offering support and stability, we remind them that they are not forgotten—that they are part of the vibrant fabric of our world and that they matter.
